IMCS Balkan was founded in October 2010. The office is presently owned and managed by Mr. Sorin N. Dragomir who spent 15 years at sea as a deck officer and re-directed his career in 2000 to become a supervisor for the Zamakona Shipyard in Pasaja (Spain) where he was in charge of the newbuilding, repairs, modernization and conversion department. He is a qualified internal auditor for ISM with certification for ISPS audits to follow soon.

The IMCS Balkan office is located in Galatz, from where most ports in Romania and Bulgaria can easily be reached. IMCS Balkan is mainly involved in cargoworthiness inspections and marine survey work for different players in the marine industry.

Mr. Sorin N. Dragomir spent 15 years at sea as a deck officer.
