With its operational base at Santander, the IMCS Spain office provides services mainly along the Spanish north coast from Pasajes to Avilés, including the important ports of Bilbao, Santander and Gijón. Any other port in Spain is also served upon request.

The Spanish IMCS office was established in 1996 and has since then been providing marine survey and cargo superintendent work for local and international clients.

Master in Nautical Sciences from the Maritime Academy Antwerp. Ward started his career as a marine and cargo surveyor at the port of Antwerp in 2006 and relocated to Santander in 2011, expanding the portfolio of services with cargo superintendence work as well.

Graduated in Nautical Engineering and Maritime Transport at the University of Cantabria, Santander in 2016. After fourteen months of sea-going experience, working as a marine surveyor and cargo superintendent since 2017.

Álvaro graduated from the University of Cantabria in Santander in 2020 with a degree in Marine Engineering. He started working at IMCS Spain in 2021.
